Arrival by Car

1. From Bratislava
2. From Brno
3. From Vienna

Arrival by car from Bratislava (SK) -- Distance: ~ 108km. Duration: ~ 80 min.

1. leave Bratislava on Route D2 (E 65) in dirction north.
2. After 58km you are entering Czech Republic.
3. Stay om the D2 (E 65) for 12 km.
4. Take EXIT 48-Breclav, follow Route 55 in direction Hodonin/Straznice. after 5 kilometers you are entering Breclav
5. Pass trough Breclav, stay on Route 55>
6. After 6 kilometers: Turn right into Hlavni and stay on Route 40
7. Turn left at Sobotni and enter into Austria.
8. After entering the village "Schrattenberg" turn right.
9. Follow the road for 6 km and then turn left into the B 7 (E 461).
10. Stay on the B 7 only for 1 km and take the EXIT
11. Follow the road to FALKENSTEIN, you can't miss the castle ;-)

Arrival by car from Brno (CZ) -- Distance: ~ 60 km, Duration: ~ 60 min.

1. Follow the Route 52 (E 461) in direction south, watch out for signs to Znojmo, Mikulov and Wien/Austria.
2. After ~ 50 km you cross the boarder and enter Austria.
3. Follow the B 7 (E 461) for around 4 kilometers, passing the village "Drasenhofen".
4. Turn right at "Fünfkirchen" and follow the sighns to "Stützenhofen" for 4 kilometers.
5. Follow the signs to "FALKENSTEIN" for 5 kilometers.
6. Enter Falkenstein - you can't miss the castle ;-)

Arrival by car from Vienna (A) -- Duration: ~ 60 min.

1. Leave Vienna in direction north on the B 7 "Brünnerstrasse" (E 461).
2. Follow the Brünner Straße, Brünner Bundesstrasse (B7) for around 55 kilometers.
3. Pass through Poysdorf, stay on the B 7 vor another 4 kilometers
4. Take the EXIT (Falkenstein is written on the sign) and turn right
5. Follow the road to Falkenstein.
6. Follow the signs to the castle, you can't miss ;-)
